As you probably know, lots and new construction are rare in Vestavia. I snapped some photos of the newly opened lots at Altadena Ridge that will have amazing views of the new Vestavia Cahaba River Park, Sports, and Trail Complex. I love this location as I love LifeTime Fitness and the new Publix. For those that work in the 280 area or downtown, the proximity to central Vestavia, 459, and 280 is outstanding. Also, this is a great location for Briarwood families and is close to God’s House preschool. I believe many Grandview doctors and nurses will call Altadena Ridge home soon.

As a Ross Bridge resident, I have noticed the unique private lots in the new McGill development. These are large and wooded lots that back up to Patton Creek. The homes will have basements and great yards. There will only be a few homes in the development, so you will be on a convenient but quiet street that will be awesome for kids. The lots are across the street (walkable) from Deer Valley Elementary, which is one of the best elementary schools in the area. Enjoy a short drive to downtown and take advantage of Ross Bridge Golf and Spa, which is open to the public.

In most developments, you will pay the same price whether or not you have a Realtor. Remember – the agents at the site work for the builder, not for you. More importantly, you need a Realtor to help you navigate the complex (and lengthy) new construction contracts and timelines.
